Process Design Engineer—Bachelor’s degree required in Chem. Engineering or related field, plus 5 yrs. Post baccalaureate experience. Duties include computing necessary process and design calculations in several phases of design work for basic engineering packages, front-end engineering design, and engineering, procurement & construction projects; evaluating chemical equipment and processes to identify ways to optimize performance and compliance with client's specifications; designing/planning layout of equipment; reviewing/revising processes and development based on calculations and inter-discipline coordination; processing calculations and process data input; performing tests and monitoring performance of processes throughout stages of productions and reviewing degree of control over variables like temperature, density, gravity, and pressure. Mechanical Engineer with experience in offshore topsides facilities and/or onshore facilities. Must have at least 10 years experience. Long Term position with medium sized engineering firm. West Houston.
Piping Designers with onshore and/or offshore oil and gas facilities design experience. Must have at least 4 years of recent PDMS experience. For the offshore, experience in fixed platforms is a plus. For the onshore, experience in Gas Compressor Station Layout required. 5-6 months, but could go out to long term.
Structural Designers - PDMS - experience with fixed platforms – topsides for SPARS, FPSO, Semi’s – must be fluent in Design and Draft

Duties include: Prepares basic engineering packages and supervisory operating manuals for required technology; prepares and checks design calculations, data sheets, project specifications and PFD/P&ID/UFD in accordance with client and project specifications and standards; checks and reviews design output and Computer Aided Design (CAD) outputs to ensure accuracy and adherence to design concepts; coordinates with other engineers and disciplines; uses various software to generate outputs and meet goals of project and client; designs and plans layout of equipment; reviews and revises processes and development based on calculations and inter-discipline coordination; processes calculations and process data input; determines most effective arrangement of operations; provides proposal support work; plans project execution according to assigned schedule.
